Very special light red dessert wine. Normally southern French red Grenache dessert wines are so dark and firm that you can't see through the wine and high in alcohol, about 15-17% alcohol. Le Vitriol is picked late, pressed immediately, and has been matured for 8 months in old large wooden barrels.
Le Vitriol is crystal clear, very soft and refined with only 12% alcohol and slightly sweet. Quite aromatic, rose petals, young and ripe red fruit, hint of black fruit and slightly spicy.
