Wine import of organic, biodynamic and natural wines

Wine shop at Hogeweg 19, 1098 BV in Amsterdam

At the family business Pieksman Wijnimport, father Auke had been selling wine since 1960. P & N Wijnkopers was founded in 1972 at Prins Hendrikkade 48 by Auke and Wim Nuchteren. At that time too, the entire range consisted of 100% own imports. Purchases were made from the farmer himself and the wine was stored in the cellars of the Entrepotdok, opposite Artis. In 1985, P & N Wijnkopers was merged with Cordier Wijn Nederland, where Auke remained employed until he retired in 2001.

However, the retirement was short-lived. After a long wine journey with wife Anneke through France, the love for fine wines was back. Together with son Yvo, Pieksman Wijnimport was founded in 2002. The first wine importers in the Netherlands to sell exclusively organic or biodynamic (and vin nature) certified wines. The range still consists of their own imported wines. Organic(-dynamic) wine, grappa, olive oil, balsamic and vinegar are supplied to catering establishments and wine shops throughout the Netherlands and Flanders.

Since the summer of 2010, there is also a shop for consumers in Amsterdam-Watergraafsmeer. The entire range is available in Pieksman Wijnwinkel, on the corner of Hogeweg and Bredeweg.

Here you will be helped by vinologist Yvo Pieksman, Roel, Olivier, Tobias & Lucas. You are most welcome for advice on the right wine for your dinner, just for a nice glass of wine for every day and business gifts in the shop. Click here for the route and opening hours.

Where Auke started in 1972 with 19 wines, Pieksman Wijnimport has grown in 2024 to a range of almost 700 wines from more than 120 winegrowers.
