Description
In Jura, a wine tasting often starts with red wine, followed by white. Traditionally, red wines are fruity and light with low tannins. One of those unique, specific dark grape varieties is Poulsard, or Ploussard.
The village of Pupillin is considered the capital of Poulsard. In this specific part of the Jura, the grape variety thrives and the wines perform enormously. So does this one from the Petit family. Ripe blackberries and herbs on the nose, juicy and soft but also quite structured in taste. Put on that mushroom stew!
