Delicious low-alcohol (<0.5%) alternative to red wine, but for this drink no grapes have been picked. Red Arensbak tastes of ripe summer berries, liquorice and earthy tones. A dry drink with a deep and long aftertaste. This is next level. Treat this drink as if it were a wine: between 16 and 18 degrees in a large wine glass it comes into its own perfectly.

In the cellar: This red from Arensbak is made on the basis of Chinese black tea. This specific tea has a natural earthy taste, a perfect basic product. The tea is fermented by means of a SCOBY, then juice of chokeberry, blackberry, sour cherry is added, as well as Cremini mushrooms (umami!) for the 2nd fermentation. Then an infusion takes place with juniper berry and liquorice root to further enhance the complexity and mouthfeel. Finally, the final drink is given some wood aging before bottling, which creates a modest tannin experience and makes the structure even deeper.
