Description
In Ammerschwihr, in the heart of Alsace, you will find biodynamic winegrower Christian Binner. The art of winemaking has been passed down from father to son on this estate since 1770.
Michelle Ramponi, Christian's wife, also makes delicious drinks here. For those who want something different, there is now Storm. Pétillant de Fruits of 7% alcohol from 50/50 apples and grapes. No fewer than five different types of apple are used, including the Prinzapfel. An apple variety unique to Alsace and grown in la Vallée de Munster at an altitude of 700 metres. Kristkindel apples are also grown here, from which Michelle makes a delicious, alcohol-free apple juice. You can find it here .
The other half of the grapes are three different types of Muscat; Alsace Blanc, Alsace Rose and Ottonel, all native to the area. The juice of the two different types of fruit ferments together on their own natural yeasts and the second fermentation in the bottle and without the addition of So2
And so here we have, thanks to Michelle, a very tasty, soft Pétillant de Fruits with an aromatic edge. Very tasty as an aperitif or with South-East Asian dishes.
