Description
Floral, lovely fruit, a soft mineral finish. A white blend with the nose of Viognier, the tension of Marsanne and the length of Rousanne, it has everything you want from a white Rhône. Spicy minerality with some waxy aromas, peach, sandy soils, yellow apple, Galia melon, tangerines and jackfruit. Rich and creamy in the mid-palate with balanced acidity of green apple.
Delicious with: White meat, aperitif, fish dishes
Henri Pouizin is responsible for the wine production together with his wife Mathilde. Henri is now the fourth generation of organic winemakers on the estate. In the heart of the Enclave des Papes, the north of the Vaucluse department, Domaine du Séminaire is located, near Valréas at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters. On the hills near the city of Valréas lies the 100ha estate surrounded by forests, olive trees and lavender fields.
Henri and Mathilde work completely organically and are increasingly developing a preference for biodynamics, especially in the cellar where they use the lunar calendar. In the wine cellar, they never use wood maturation, only stainless steel and old cement barrels, which ensures soft, spicy and fruity Rhône wines. Beautiful terroir wines, passed on from generation to generation.
