Exactly what we want from a good rosé. Delicious sun-soaked grapes, almost persistently pink and full of dark red fruit and a touch of spice. Case in point, rosé is not just for the summer. Delicious as an aperitif, with salads and steak tartare.
The organic winery Domaine Grand Guilhem is 12 hectares in size and is located just above Cascastel-des-Corbières. There in the Fitou area they make beautiful pure natural wines. 50 years ago the Cru Fitou, the first red wine from Languedoc-Roussillon, received an AOC status. If you are in the area, don't forget to book an overnight stay! Very pleasant and very picturesque.
