Description
Lively and clear wine. Shows of light red fruit (strawberry, cherry), flowers, almond and spices (including cinnamon). Balanced wine with a fine texture and balance.
Father Roger Tessier started planting vines next to his asparagus fields in 1961. Son Philippe took over the management of the vineyards in 1981 & expanded the wine growing to 24 hectares, divided over 2 appellations, Cheverney and Cour-Cheverny. Since 1998 the vineyards have been farmed organically, the Ecocert certificate followed in 2002. Philippe grows Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Côt, Pinot Noir, Gamay and of course the local Romorantin.
