Description

A blend of (mainly) Sauvignon Blanc with Chardonnay (a SB/Chardonnay blend is common in Cheverny blanc wines). Smells of white flowers, peach and apricot.

Father Roger Tessier started planting vines next to his asparagus fields in 1961. Son Philippe took over the management of the vineyards in 1981 & expanded the wine growing to 24 hectares, divided over 2 appellations, Cheverney and Cour-Cheverny. Since 1998 the vineyards have been farmed organically, the Ecocert certificate followed in 2002. Philippe grows Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Côt, Pinot Noir, Gamay and of course the local Romorantin.
