Description

Cava that meets and exceeds expectations. Because it smells and tastes soft fruity and fresh but also has a pleasantly ripe character due to more than 18 months of bottle maturation. Grapes from organic vineyards, in addition to the Cava trinity Macabeo, Xarel lo and Parellada, there is also added a lick of Chardonnay.
Catalan-born Augustí Vilaret founded Mont-Ferrant in 1865 as one of the first cava houses as we know it today. Augustí's nickname was 'the American from Blanes', because he lived in the Antilles for many years, so the name 'L'Americano' for this Cava was quickly found.
