Description

Light orange wine from, yes, Juhfark, Furmint, Hárslevelű, and Olaszrizling. Say that at the family table. Four grapes, characteristic of the Pannonian plain. Part skin maceration, part direct pressing, brings out the best in this special composition. Together they are in balance and yet the focus is still on energy. The maceration is lightly present on the palette without stealing the stage from the inescapable liveliness of the wine. Plazma is therefore the epitome of terroir and of Kolonia 52. Let us gladly be carried away.

Only a very small edition and so with this the rule, one per person. Share fairly.

Country / Region: Hungary / Balaton
Grapes: Juhfark, Furmint, Hárslevelű, and Olaszrizling

In the vineyard: Terroir of basalt with chalky layers, sand and clay. Grapes from vineyards located on the south. Harvest by hand.
In the wine cellar: Juhfark grapes were pressed immediately after harvest, while Furmint, Hárslevelű, and Olaszrizling were first stored on skins in open barrels for four days. After pressing, Furmint and Hárslevelű were blended together in a 600L barrel, Furmint in another 600L barrel, and Olaszrizling in a 400L barrel. All wines were aged sur-lie for 8 months. Finally, all wines were blended 2 days before bottling. Unfiltered, without the addition of So2.
