Description

Philippe Mesnier, Baptiste, and Vivien, Les Tètes, four friends, four wine lovers and makers. A project, simply based on the idea of making only wines that they like to drink together, on those nice evenings with friends. Within France, from north to south, east to west, grapes are collected from friendly winegrowers. These are then put together in unusual blends to create wines that they all like and that do justice to the grapes of winegrowers.

'Colombard' is the first vintage made and comes from Les Parcelles. The wines of Les Parcelles from Les Tètes, are only produced in very small quantities, on high quality plots and smaller than one hectare.

Mainly associated with Armagnac, this Colombard proves that very nice, soft wines can certainly be made from it. This orange wine is floral in the nose, spicy but still mineral. Green apple, white peach, lemongrass and white almonds. Fine as an aperitif, with shellfish or young cheeses.

The Colombard grapes have had 14 days of skin contact and matured for a year in oak barrels. Harvesting is done by hand, Vinification with indigenous yeast.
