Description
Sulle Bucce, orange wine with a straw-yellow color and a golden shine, the color of Terre Siciliane during the harvest. Fresh, aromatic wine from Validbella with a slightly smoky touch. Mouth full of citrus fruits and flowers with a spicy tingling and warm, elegant tannins. Good minerality and a long finish. Very strong work from Valdibella with a very good price-quality ratio. Nice for those who want to taste orange wine or for those who simply love good wine.
Valdibella is a cooperative where the winegrowers still have a say in the management and style of the wines. There are 6 winegrowers responsible for the 38 hectares of vineyards. They work as naturally as possible.
The vineyards are situated between 300-500 m altitude in a hilly area between Camporeale and Monreale. 'Regosuoli' (brown) topsoil with lots of clay (rich in calcium, lime). Yield 50hl/ha, manual harvest in small containers.
Only wild yeasts and natural malolactic fermentation are used. No filtering, no sulphites added.
