100% Chardonnay, wonderfully fresh, subtle but full of character. The typical caramel creaminess with a hint of tropical fruit, almonds and pecans. Sounds like a cake, but it isn't. Slightly creamy mouthfeel and a refreshing finish. Perfect to accompany many dishes. Or just like that, with a plate of good olives and roasted almonds. Sometimes all you need is more.
Bodegas Arraez can be found in Spain, in the province of Valencia, between Valencia and Alicante. It is the 3rd generation of the Arraez family that is at the helm of the bodega. Toni is driven & ambitious, and has guided the winery into modern times. A young, dynamic and creative team around him ensures organic farming and modern wines with matching displays. In the meantime, Toni guards the origin. He prides himself on the unique mix of different special grape varieties in the area, promotes them and makes wine with them. The bodega recently built a brand new building, which contrasts sleekly and modernly with the vineyards around it. The very recognizable labels are designed by artist Eduardo Bermejo, and give a clear image of the style of Arraez. Modern and stylish.
