Description
Firm and spicy natural wine from the local grape Monastrell. Hint of horse stable in the nose but in the taste full of black fruit, chocolate and earthy tones. Soft tannins to finish it off.
Bodegas Los Frailes is located 80 kilometers southwest of Valencia and has been a family business since 1771. The surface area where wine is produced consists of 10,000 m2. The old underground cellar dates from before 1800 and in the new part, built in 2000, the family works Velazquez with the latest technologies but also biodynamic in the vineyard. They let nature take its course and intervene as little as possible.
