Description

Smooth and soft, with lots of ripe red fruit. Best enjoyed chilled.
Domaine de Brau is located in the beautiful northwest of the Languedoc, close to Carcasonne (an old walled city, the only one left in France). Here Wenny (Belgian) and Gabriel make excellent fresh wines. This is also because the vineyards are higher and they also have influence from the Atlantic fresh winds.
Limestone-bearing marl soil with more loam than clay. Mediterranean transitional climate with Atlantic influence.
  • Country / Region: France / Pays d'Oc IGP
  • Grape variety(ies): 100% Pinot Noir
  • Character : Soft and fruity
  • Quality mark : Ecocert – Organic
  • Tasting note : Pinot Noir from the South of France, more hours of sunshine than a Burgundy Pinot Noir and therefore slightly riper fruit. Lots of cherries, raspberries, sour cherry. Full and supple with integrated tannins. Delicious to cool slightly.
  • Goes well with: Aperitif, chicken/turkey, pork, charcuterie, terrace, light fish dishes, vegetable dishes, Boeuf Bourguignon, light red meat dishes.
