Description

Elzéard is the main character in 'The man who planted trees', a story by Jean Giono. The film version is on the internet and is beautifully drawn, worth watching! Only takes half an hour. Anyway, the name refers to this story. Pinot Noir that matures for 20 months before it is allowed into the world. What concentration and structure! Dark cherries, spicy, leather, compact. Pleasant tannins, cherry stone, wine to warm up. Can be decanted, can be eaten with.
