Description
Soft, elegant Garnacha. Aromas that remind of autumn leaves and chestnuts, earthy with a fine mouthfeel and yet spicy and floral. The maturation on the concrete eggs gives the wine a nice complexity. An early forest walk, so to speak. Nice to dine with, to have a drink or just on its own, alone or with many.
The Ingenium wines are produced by Viñedos Ruiz Jiménez, the house that is also responsible for the wines of Osoti. The latter wines are, although produced entirely biodynamically and somewhat more classic in style. The Ingenium wines are made entirely naturally, without any additives, filtering or clarification and with only the grape's own yeasts.
The winery was founded in 1998 and to this day they are the only ones in Rioja that are organic and Demeter certified.
