Description
The Favorita grape, mainly found in the Langhe region (Piedmont), is closely related to the Vermentino grape, which produces soft and fresh white wines mainly in Liguria and Sardinia. Hay, fresh flowers, fresh fruit, delicious as an aperitif.
Fausto and Cinza Cellario are 3rd generation winegrower and the 1st generation within the family that makes strictly natural wine. They make trendy biodynamic natural wines from local grape varieties such as Favorita, Nascetta, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Grignolino. Fausto and Cinza close the bottles with a crown cork because it can happen that a bottle starts to ferment again in the bottle.
Over 13 hectares of vineyards (and some hazelnut trees) cultivated biodynamically on three different plots within the western Langhe.
