Description
This Cuvée is the flagship of Château Peybonhomme-Les-Tours. The vineyards are located on slopes along the Gironde near Blaye and extend over 60 hectares. Aromatic with scents of red fruit and spices. A nuanced wine with a full aftertaste. The Manoir de La Grolet, owned by Catherine and Jean-Luc Hubert, is located in a region that is also called the Little Switzerland of the Gironde. The vineyards face south. The vines are deeply rooted in a clay soil with a limestone subsoil. Maturation in 'barriques' (small wooden barrels).
