Delicious, soft pet-nat made from a field blend. The grapes come from different regions; Gaillac, Rhône and Bordeaux. When the juice comes together after the first fermentation, the little residual sugar quickly starts a second fermentation which gives a mineral, elegant mousse. Delicious as an aperitif. In Azay-le-Rideau, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, you will find Nicolas Grosbois, Philippe Mesnier, Baptiste, and Vivien, Les Tètes. Four friends, four wine lovers and makers. A project, simply based on the idea of only making wines that they like to drink together, on those nice evenings with friends. Within France, from north to south, east to west, grapes are collected from friendly winegrowers. These are then put together in unusual blends to create wines that they all like and that do justice to the grapes of the winegrowers. A playful approach to vinification, so to speak.
Nicolas Grosbois and Philippe Mesnier have been making wine together since 2013 at their 12-hectare Domaine des Hauts Baigneux, also in Azay-le-Rideau. The wine from Les Tètes is also ultimately made in Nicolas' cellar, in Panzoult.

In the vineyard: Soil consisting of clay and limestone. Grapes from both Gaillac, Rhône and Bordeaux.
In the cellar: Grapes completely destemmed, several days of skin maceration. Grapes fermented separately, combined at the end of the first fermentation. Fermentation in stainless steel. Second fermentation in the bottle. Without addition of sulphites, unfiltered.
