Description
Beautiful aromatic Picpoul. Dry, not too tight, lime, gooseberry, freshly cut grass, salty, very mineral. Long finish. Good with: Shellfish, grilled fish with fennel, fish with sauerkraut, seafood paella, salmon and as an aperitif.
About the wine: The estate is located in the middle of the AOC Picpoul de Pinet on the Mediterranean Sea opposite the famous fishing village of Sete, close to Montpellier and the Côte de Thau lake. Mussels and oysters are grown here. The wine is therefore also very suitable for dishes with shellfish. The estate also has its vineyards beautifully situated in the French dunes, which also gives the wine a salty taste. The wine cellar is located in old restored stables from the 17th century.
