Description
Wine made from the Altesse grape variety, a special local white that originates around Geneva and is related to Chasselas. Altesse is also called Roussette. A grape variety from the mountains, which tastes the same: babbling fresh mountain stream, crackling grass field, citrus mountain slope, dill view.

In the vineyard: Purchased grapes from Groslée in Ain. Organic vineyards just outside the AOC Bugey. 15 year old vines on weathered limestone. Manual harvest.

In the cellar: Long pressing, spontaneous fermentation and maturation on the lees in glass fibre and old demi-muids for 9 months.
