Winzerhof Linder, with mind and hand, with love and understanding, with life and with joy.
Ronald Linder was well on his way to becoming a filmmaker. But things turned out differently. In 2011, as an experiment, he took over 0.4 ha from his father in Kaiserstuhl Baden. The main goal was to stop using chemical pesticides on the land. His great-grandfather still rode his bike and the back puit into the vineyard in the morning. Not long after, in 2013, Maik Merbitz came to the Winzerhof. Not with the intention of staying for a long time. Nevertheless, he still works closely with Ronald today in maintaining a diverse viticulture.
No heavy construction machinery on the land, as much as possible by hand and only probiotic crop protection. Live and let live. Ronald mastered both the conventional way of making wine (to understand how it should not be done) and the methods of Hauschka, Lothar Vogel, Sepp Holzer, Maria Thun and Wolf-Dieter Storl, among others. With time and study, Ronald actually retains a philosophical approach and works increasingly biodynamically. In the cellar as little as possible happens and on the land there are many different fruit trees and chickens and sheep are kept. All for the land and the vines. Because, the quality of the land, will speak in the wine.
