Description

Elegant wine, scented with wild flowers. Lightly aromatic with a clear touch of fleece blossom and blanched almonds. Made from 80-year-old vines that surround the church 'San Lorenzo' on the Quarin mountain.

Ferdinando Zanusso makes clean and pure vin nature. With yields of only 20hl/ha, from vines of 80 years, he uses only spontaneous wild yeasts, no clarification, no filtration and long maturation in stainless steel tanks and barrique. For this he uses exclusively the old indigenous grape varieties of his region Friuli. His wines are characterized by four different grape varieties and the five different characters of the terroir.

Friuli is located in the far northeast of Italy and borders Austria and Slovenia. The region is known for its fine white wines from Friulano, Ribolla and Malvasia grapes.
