Description

Nord au Sud, a blend of Viognier and Vermentino from north-facing plots. A nose full of apricot and peach and dynamic and round in the mouth. The south brings the grapes, the north the freshness. Beautiful, slightly aromatic blend of Saint Chinian AOC. Serve well cold, as an aperitif, with tapas, grilled meat, salads, charcuterie from the Cevennes, Asian cuisine, fondues and raclettes. A diverse palette.

The Château Bousquette was owned by the Abbaye de Foncaude until the French Revolution. At that time, it was taken over by Mr. Moustelou de Cessenon, who was succeeded by a long line of winegrowers, including the Fabre-Ginoulhac family, who looked after it until 1996. Since 1972, the vineyards of Château Bousquette have been cultivated according to the principles of 'Nature and Progress', organic viticulture without the use of chemicals and pesticides.

Since 1996, the Swiss couple Eric and Isabelle Perret have been at the helm of the Château. The 25 hectares of vineyards of Château Bousquette are located in Saint-Chinian AOC, above the Orb river and the town of Cessenon (approximately 15km north-west of Béziers).
