Description
Warm aromas of honey, almond and a touch of butter together with juicy apples and a bit of lemon curd, this le blanc from Bordeaux. Rich on the nose, a fine mouthfeel and an ell long length.
Catherine and Jean Luc Hubert are the 5th generation winemakers of Château Peybonhomme-les-Tours. In conservative Bordeaux, the vineyards have been farmed biodynamically since 2000. Drink young. Château La Grolet in Côtes is the other château of the Huberts.

In the vineyard: Terroir of clay and limestone. Vines of approx. 12 years old.
In the cellar: Spontaneous fermentation, 40% in new wooden barrels and 60% in concrete barrels. Grapes go through soft pressing. 6 months maturation with occasional battonage, stirring of wine and yeast cells. Filtered.
