Description

Light-footed, fruity and flowery white. The Müller-Thurgau/Riesling blend has fine acids and something slightly sweet in the aftertaste. Delicious as an aperitif, but also with lighter dishes.

'Feinherb' is a vague description of the sweetness level of the wine. There are no official regulations for the term and therefore no classification with a minimum and maximum residual sweetness. 'Trocken' is dry, 'halbtrocken' is semi-dry (semi-sweet). But there are plenty of German white wines with a little residual sweetness. This Till Gutscuvée has only 6.2 g/l residual sweetness. According to winemaker Lotte, there is enough residual sweetness in the aftertaste to call it Feinherb but not enough for halbtrocken. It is a dry white wine, fresh and sparkling with a light sweetness in the aftertaste.

The winery has been run by the Pfeffer-Müller family for five generations and covers an area of 11 hectares. The wine comes from the Dienheimer Tafelstein vineyards that stretch across the terraces along the Rhine.
