The four monkeys also make wines from grapes from one vineyard under the name 'The Dance of the Wind': the "Molino Quemado" and "La Isilla".
This is the Molino Quemado, loosely translated as 'Burnt mill'. A robust and quite powerful wine for 4 Monos standards. The grapes come from the 0.8 hectare 'El Canto de las Brujas' vineyard, planted with 75 year old Garnacha Tinta plants.
This is a wonderfully powerful red, while the light-footed signature of 4 Monos is still present. Robust yet subtle, dark fruity and mineral. Pour the wine from the carafe into large glasses for the optimal experience!

In the vineyard: Organic farming. Rocky granite soil of weathered pink granite. Topsoil of sand and gneiss. 75 year old vines, bush vines. 750 meters high.

In the cellar: Hand-picked grapes, cold maceration with whole bunches, spontaneous fermentation for 48 days, then maturation for 14 months in used oak barrels of 500 liters. Minimal use of sulphites.
